5th Sun Cycle/Winter Release Anniversary Party
December 9, 2016 @ 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Point 506 announces it’s 5th Sun Cycle Anniversary Party on December 9th 6-11pm in celebration of their 2016 winter line release at none other than Winter St. Studio B8.
A perfect last-minute shop-drop-and-liftoff before the holidays, this event promises to be filled with intriguing visuals, sounds, and affordable, high fashion quality clothing that will leave a lasting impact on anyone who gets to wear it. That’s because after 5 years of business, this 2-person team, Vincent Fink and Tina Lara, still delivers unparalleled freelance design but also puts their talents to the scientific method with Point506 Clothing; a branch of their company that aims to, as their site says, ‘clothe a general populous with fashionable designs that will inspire engagement in the sciences.’ Designs include Nikola Tesla, Schrodinger’s Dead & Alive Cat, The Double Slit Experiment, fractals, Sacred Geometry, and much more.

There will also be a small Artist Talk around 7pm where co-Founder & Chief Designer, Vincent Fink will go over the process, progress and future vision for .506, including some open discussion about the current zeitgeist, philosophy and how it relates to the current affairs. Vincent will attempt to bridge this with how our mission relates to public service.
Outside of Winter Street, attendees will also be able to see the enormous Art Wall, part of the developing Arts District of Houston. Vincent Fink’s work is featured amongst Houston’s best street artists, in his first enormous scale 90 ft by 30 ft mural. There are plans for a light projection mapping animation to take place either here or in the studio. More TBA.
