What if I told you…
The earth is actually a fishbowl and everything we see in the cosmos is actually a lensing effect similar to a hologram. Where images appear to us on the inside through the projection from observable space onto the glasslike structure that surrounds our world.
It’s an interesting concept.
I am a fan of the Holographic Principle. This idea has been popularized by theoretical physicists like Leonard Susskind. He came to some astounding conclusions involving holograms when pontificating on Black holes and the information “lost” in a black hole. A holographic universe allows for these anomalies. Black hole horizons behave like holograms for anything that falls into the black hole because there’s the object that keeps falling in and then there’s the hologram of it that is stuck on the horizon until the black hole dies and then that information dies with it. I guess.
He also says that our universe may be in a black hole. Much like the painting I created below:
I can imagine being like a fish inside looking out of a fish bowl. One can go down all kinds of rabbit holes with this including Operation Fishbowl. This is the US government nuclear testing project in the Earth’s atmosphere. Some people speculate that they were really trying to break through the firmament of a Fishbowl Earth. What if we’re all a bunch of fish in a bowl that God made to observe and test us?
Well, it’s probably not quite the case, but it made for a cool surrealism art description!
