Vincent Fink sets out to explore the intersection of human and animal tendencies, while making commentary on the fluidity of identity. As we study how emotions turn into habits, habits into behavior, and behavior into personality, we find the “person” in this word is not distinct from many other living creatures, especially other mammals. Using acrylic and oil on canvas and panel, he continues his Sacred Geometry inspired series of Iterations paintings in this mini-series of archetypes through a neo-surreal lens.
