This spider I snapped a shot of from my backyard is a Venusta Orchard Spider. A very beautiful being that you should not kill if you see one.
Here’s a couple photos of recent events. It contains a couple pic’s from The Big Show at Lawndale Art Center with my piece “Iteration 50: Reflection Pool” a photo of me and the collector is belongs to, as well as friends. The piece was prominently featured in the program and the curator George Scheer (co-founder and Director of Elsewhere, a living museum and artist residency set in a former thrift store in Greensboro, NC) also used it as an analogy for the curating process. I was proud. 😉
Also some pics from the 1st of two #SummerSeries events, and another happy collector there who drank a bottle of rum with me and others. The next #SummerSeries is July 31st so be there and be ready to buy some art and have a lot of fun!
I’m finally reaching that point where I’m balanced. I’m enjoying life just as much as I’m working hard to create a legacy of work that I might be proud of when I leave this physical reality.
