Catching up, I saw The Great God Pan Is Dead picked me for one of their top 10 pieces out of the two submissions I got into Lawndale’s The Big Show. All I can say is I’m really appreciative of my local arts community lately. It seems the faster I crank out another painting, the more I enjoy it and the more the world around responds to it. I’ve been doing excellent in sales lately and thus needing to catch up on the blog here. I finally bought a ton of new screen printing equipment and learning how to use it! Almost done actualizing that dream, and looking onto new ones.
So that’s cool, above are crops of the two pieces at Lawndale and I’ll be there, this Thursday (starts at 6pm) to talk for a min along with many other artists at The Big Slide Show where I’ll have photos of 10 other pieces and I will hopefully say something epic about Lord Worm and something interesting about Iterations and someone might just pick up another piece from this show, but I won’t say which one is already sold yet.
I’m also preparing to continue warp speed as I need to stay stocked up for my solo show at Galleria Regina in about a month. The exhibition date is from September 13 to October 25, with Receptions on September 20 and October 18.
More good news is on the way as well…I’m sooo happy right now. Thank you for keeping me going!
