DESCRIPTION:Presented by Bambull Black. \nDream Machine is an interactive and immersive experience featuring 6 local musical acts and visual performances and light installations from 5 teams of local artists. Costumes are encouraged but not required\, dress as wild as you like. We will have a contest for ‘Most Wild and Stimulating Thread Ensemble.’ \nThe Safehouse is located in East Downtown HTX. The artists of Silver Street\, Winter Street Studios and The Silos on Sawyer look forward to hosting you for an evening of art\, friends and mingling. Explore our buildings\, meet new artists\, sip on refreshing summer cocktails from Stoli Vodka\, Topo Chico USA\, Bayou Rum\, and Holler Brewing Co. Admission is free and we hope you will bring your art loving friends! \nVisitors the the Summer Series will experience a variety of works including – paintings\, sculpture\, ceramics\, glass\, mosaic\, photography\, mixed media\, apparel and jewelry. Art lovers will be treated to museum quality artists\, many of them represented by local and nationwide galleries. \nThe buildings are located in Houston’s historic First Ward as part of the Washington Avenue Arts District. With over 350 artists in residence\, this area houses the largest concentration of working artists in the nation.
